Our 8 yard skips, often referred to as a 'Builders Skip', is our most popular skip size and are the ones you most commonly see on people's driveways. This size of skip is ideal for a variety of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects such as major renovation works, shop refits and garden clearances. Heavier waste such as soil and rubble can be included in an 8 yard skip.
An 8 yard skip typically holds 70–80 bin bags of waste.
Our 12 yard skips can hold large amounts of light bulky waste, such as furniture, plastics, and packaging. 12 yard skips are really popular with shop fitters and strip-out companies, and builders for large house clearances. This size of skip is not suitable for heavier waste such as soil or hardcore.
A 12 yard skip typically holds approximately 110–120 bin bags full of waste.
Our 16 yard skips are the largest 'traditional' skip size we supply (before larger Roll On Roll Off skip containers are needed). This size of skip is ideal for larger projects like shop fitting and larger bulky construction waste including wood, metal and plastics.
